About us

Dance 8 formed in 2008 after working together on projects since 2003.

Individually we are professional dancers, performers, teachers and choreographers and together we share our skills and experience to make each other stronger.

Dance 8 run  classes for private dance schools, for secondary and primary schools, youth clubs, leisure centres and community centres. We work with all ages and abilities, including classes for babies and their parents, gifted and talented youth groups for dancers who are considering dance as a career, and gentle classes for people who prefer seated exercise.  We work with groups with different learning needs including people with disabilities, young offenders and young mothers and their babies. 

Dance 8 have performances to share with all audiences, using various styles of dance, singing and drama. We have also created Streetwise a  show based on street issues including gang related issues and knife crime. We run a workshops alongside the Streetwise show which allows learners to create there own issue based choreography and develop their street dance skills.

Dance 8 believes that anyone can dance and that dance is a fun way to get fit and keep active!
